not much you can do. with the guinea piggies ask if they could move them as your husband has this allergy either to the animals or the bedding etc they're on. as for the washing nothing you can do. perhaps one day you could jokingly say to them you had guests round and we were having a laugh at your undies or whatever. that may embarrassed them perhaps. really they do have every right to hang out their washing. the cherry, cut it back if its on your side. maybe you could ask them in time if you could renew the trellis for them as it looks very old and rotten. good luck.

2003 Cavalier Clicking Sounds?

I have an 03 cavalier and there's a strange thunk, click sound coming from the wheels. I don't know which one it is but it sounds like squeaking from outside and inside I sounds like clicking and thunking. I walked into my room about an hour ago to find my little brother squeezing my rat so hard it was squeaking in pain. I got the rat out of his hands and put her back in her cage. How do i know when to change my toyota corolla 2007 brake pads?

I old Ford Focus car make squeaking sounds when i was driving and not using the brakes letting me know to get the pads changed but my corolla made no sounds like that but just today I noticed that my corolla makes a grinding sound when I start coming to a complete stop. When I was 17 years old, I met a guy named..let's call him Jay. Jay and I connected instantly. Within three months we got our first apartment together and were practically inseperable. I ended up going away for college and cried the entire trip and first week I was there. I ended up driving three hours one way EVERY weekend just to be near him for a day. But we were young, and I was insecure and thought he was cheating on me so we broke up. After a month of avoiding him calling and calling and calling (I was away at school) the calls suddenly stopped. It scared me to death, so I called him to see if he was okay or had gotten hurt. He was fine physically, but so depressed that he was moving across country (Literally east coast to west coast) to live with his dad. It felt like someone had stabbed me. It took me less than two heart beats to decide that I was going with him to wherever he was. So I packed my bags and we moved. Life was great. We were always smiling and laughing, we did so many amazing things...adventures I guess I consider them...and then, when I was 21 I found out I was pregnant. Everything went down hill from there as my attention turned away from him onto our child that I was carrying. And he became abusive. I tolerated the unusual negative behavior until our son was 4 months old, and I finally couldn't take it anymore, so i decided I was moving back to the east coast. There was never a discussion, if I went, he was going to go. So we moved, and life settled down. He actually really began to enjoy being a parent and I thought the worst was behind us...until we got pregnant AGAIN, less than 6 months after having our first son. The pattern of abusive behavior began again, and reckless behavior on his part...but not until I started to show that I was carrying a child. By the time our second son was two months old I called the police and had him arrested for one of the many abusive inciddents. And I knew that I had made the right choice. I was a single mother of two infants for almost a year, when I met my current husband. He had 6 children from a previous marriage so he enjoyed the babies. It took almost too much time and energy to blend our families, or even to form a deeply rooted bond between the two of us (even though he is an amazing man) and I just wrote it off to being so hurt by Jay. It's been over three years since I've seen Jay's face, heard his voice, even asked about him, but when I close my eyes at night it's his face that I dream about. I know that I should be scared of him, but honestly, after the anger wore off...the sense of abandonment, there's just been an enormous feeling of loss. When I allow myself to think about him it feels like someone is stabbing me right in the center of my stomach and I almost have to bend over from the pain. I just don't know where I go from here..I've moved on. I'm married to a wonderful, respectable man who brings out the best in me and loves and accepts my children. But I can't help feeling like I've lost everything...Am I absolutly hopeless? Are these feelings due to the abuse in the relationship? Or did we really have something more that we just weren't ready for?

How to calm skittish pet rat who needs eye drops?

Hi there, my fianc� and I got a male rat just over a week ago from a local pet store. Columbus is 13 weeks old, and is very skittish of us. We are able to sometimes give him a treat by hand, but that's all. He will squeak and run away if we try to pick him up. He's bitten my fianc� a few times out of fear, once his teeth grazed the skin so it bled a bit. Normally I would happily take my time to get him to trust us and everything, but we had to take him to the vets last week because he looked like something was wrong with his eye, which turned out to be an eye infection, and we were given eye drops for him that we have to put in his eye once a day. Now my fianc� has left on a camp for the week, which leaves me to deal with the terrified rat by myself. He's very squirmy when I try to pick him up so often gets away. I'm wondering if there's a quick way for him to trust me enough to hold him and put the eye drops in? Thanks :)

Should me and my fiance move to Austin or Albuquerque?

We currently live in in Tampa florida. we are 22, 23. I have a bachelors in Geographic information systems with a masters certificate in GIS and one internship under my belt. My Fiance has a bachelors in marketing at a prestigious art school with a 3.75 GPA and two internships at big companies. We hate the humidity here, its too conservative and its just flat land. He is just scared. Animals have to get used to their environment so give it some time to look around! He will soon get used to the noises in a week or so. This happened to my guinea pig tom tom who recently passed away after i changed his old cage! Just be patient annd he will be his same old self again (: pat him and dont pick him up until he knows hes safe!

3 wks chronic diarrhea?

2002 Ford F250 squeaky front end?

I have a 2002 Ford F250 Ex cab short box with the 7.3 diesel, anyways the trucks front end likes to squeak only when the steering wheel is Straight and going from 5 mph to around 40 then i cant hear it anymore from the noise of the engine, that brakes and pads are brand new and i just greased all the fitting in the front end that seams to help for a minute then it started up again , but the squeak will go away if i apply the brakes just a little even. i have pulled the tires off and checked everything and it all looks at it should nothing broke or missing. it is a solid front axle and the truck has 196000 miles on it but ive seen these trucks over 300K and the front end dosnt do that , what could it be?

Unfortunately the 9 month old died due to respiratory problems that was too severe, they said even before i adopted him he probably had this problem. This left the 10 week old alone, so i bought a new companion for him, who was about 6 weeks old and is soo tiny. I've been following the introductory stages for about a week and now i've placed them both in the primary cage. The thing is that the 10 week old rat keeps dragging the little rat into the sleeping quarters and whenever the little rat wants to explore he keeps taking him back and often stays with it. He picks the little one up like a mother would and literally drags it back, which makes the little one squeak but hasn't drawn any blood. Is this normal and should i separate them again? will it lead to aggression or is he being like a surrogate mother to the little one? (who is about 7 - 8 weeks old now) Thanks

Trouble with squeaking on Saxophone?

I play alto sax and lately, I've been experiencing a lot of squeaking when I go into my highest D, E, and F. Occasionally my middle D will squeak once in a while too. I haven't been noticing this since I opened a new box of reeds (Vandoren 2 1/2). I soaked my reed in my mouth about 20 minutes prior to playing on it the first time, but after just hearing a bunch of squeaks I kept it in longer. I never experienced this problem with my older reed (same brand and strength). I use a Vandoren A27 mouthpiece and a Rovner ligature, if that matters. What can I do to stop it from squeaking?

It is a good book but it can get a little dry for the typical fantasy sometimes. Having an unusual period?

My period usually lasts 4-5 days and usually starts out heavy.My cycles are usually between 23-27 days.This time for some reason i spotted on the 23rd after my husband and i had intercourse.I thought it brought on my period,but it stopped bleeding after a couple of drops.On the 28th i only had some pink discharge and only a little as well.on the 29th it was a little more but still very little and hardly any blood.I can't remember having a period like this in the past couple of years.I feel kinda strange overall.I took a pregnancy test a couple of days ago which came out negative though. Which Shoe is better?

I am looking for a shoe that I can play basketball in, isn't too pricy, like at the 40-70$ range, and i can also walk around comfortably in. I looked online at a bunch of shoes. Proper baby mouse care?

We recently found a whole litter of baby mice with the mom in an outdoor vacuum so we put them in a safe spot and when i went to see if they were there, there was only two baby mice, one dead and one alive. I took the alive one and put it in an old hamster cage that i have... (I will assure you that i cleaned the cage) and i only have towels and bedding in there (no wheel or bowl) I put 4 small towels and some Care fresh small animals bedding in there. My mom will not let me bring him in the house so i made sure he was warm enough. I feed him some goats milk from the pet store with a small eye dropper every (at the most) 4 hours. Is there anything else that i should do besides what i am doing? I also want to know when he will open his eyes, if he can carry diseases being this young and if I should let him go when he is older. I am working on getting my mom to let me bring him in the house very soon. I honestly don't think that he can carry diseases being this young and that i should not let him go if he is too attached to humans but if he seems to want to leave then i will let him go but i want to know what you think. He already has fur, he is not pink, his eyes are still closed and when he trys to walk he wobbles a little bit because he is so little he only squeaks once in a while and it is very quiet. P.S. I rub is bum to make sure that he pees with a Q-tip that has warm water on it and i also wipe away any milk on his face.. wet or dry. Thank you for your help :)

Guinea pig owner for 2 years, now hes terrified of his cage?

Hello, I've had my guinea pig oswald for a year and a half now, just until 3 days ago, hes been happy, content and just joyful, popcorning everywhere and squeak whenever i talk to him, but the last three days, we had a black out and 30 seconds before that black out oswald literrally jumped out of his cage (i built him a C&C cage, it has no top) and was so scared, i havent been able to get him out of this funk for 3 days... hes still eating and drinking but not as much as before, when i take him downstairs to hang out hes just fine.. doing his tricks for his veggies and everything, just fine... but when i put him in his cage again, hes terrified... this morning i had to add a top to his cage because last night he jumped out when i was asleep, i found him under the bed!

From what you are telling me they sound very healthy and active. You will have to look out for their gums turning white(which means they have worms). You will also have to watch the runt they are usually the most unhealthy. At a certain point in time, when they start to walk, you will have to start potty training them or else it is more difficult when they are a bit older. Try putting them on a schedule every two hours put them in the grass until they do their business. An alternative is using potty training pads.

She said that last year a family member had filled out a form and we were chosen and won a cruise for 2 on Royal Carribean or Carnival Cruise line of our choice. Why is my washer making a burning smell?

I live in a summer home for half of the year and for fall and winter i live in my usual home. A couple of years ago I decided I didn't want to have to drive up to the house every day to do laundry so in 1998 I built a barn out back of our summer home and put a washer in it and hooked up cold water to it and all that, anyway when I leave the camp for the winter I usually remember to put anti-freeze in the washer and run it on spin so the anti freeze could go through the pump so it wouldn't freeze in the dead of winter, but for some reason I forgot to put anti-freeze in it this year and when I came back to test the washer in spring 2011 I turned the timer to 10 as usual and filled it to small size load anyway when it started to wash it washed like it usually would, i watched it wash then I waited until it started spinning and when the timer clicked to spin it made a loud buzzing and didn't move for a couple of seconds then it started to slowly spin and made a high pitch whining sound and then the power went out, so I reset the circuit braker and put the washer on spin and it did the same things except it started to squeel loudly then it made a strong fowl burning smell and it blew the circuit braker again too.it is a Crosley/maytag heavy duty 20 pound capacity washer, what is the problem and is it worth fixing???

My 6 month son's stools have increased in frequency for the past 11 days now. He is a breast fed baby who won't take a bottle. When he was a younger he spit up a lot (projectile at times) and I thought it may be a milk allergy so I cut out dairy and it seemed to improve a little. I still don't drink/eat cows milk, yogurt or cheese. I try to eliminate most foods containing milk, but it's very difficult to cut out everything. Nothing major in my diet has changed over the past few weeks other than I may eat more peanut butter than usual. When the stools first started to increase I noticed a fowl smell and they were extra watery and then no smell after a few days. The color changed from normal mustard to bright green to now a dark green. The stools are still runny but not so much watery anymore. They have always had mucus in them for the most part it seems. Today he had a dark green springlike mucus look with no water. My concern is how often he is still going. He went from never pooping in the middle of the night to pooping 3-5 times at night. On average the past 11 days he has had anywhere from 10-15 stools in a 24 hour period. Some are a lot and some just a little. But he definitely stools right after he eats and sometimes 2 more times before the next feeding. I'm still feeding him every 3 hours on average during the day and he eats twice at night (usually 1ish and 5-6ish). Do you think the stools could be from over feeding or too much fore milk? You have things working against one another. The ceiling vent fan is made to take moisture out, you are putting more in by leaving the tub full of water. The ceiling fan will also pull heated air out, so the warm air you are putting in with the heater is being pulled out the ceiling fan. Empty the tub, vent the room for just a few minutes, then turn on the heater which is a dry heat. That should take care of your problem. In the winter you want a little moisture in the house as heating the air, dries it out. Making it uncomfortable.

I can't tell if it's rats or bats in my attic?

it's like 1 AM right now and it may seem stupid but i don't know if rats sleep at night or whatever. but i don't know what bats sound like. and all i know is that rats squeak. and i have a bunk bed and right now i'm hearing scratching and squeaking every few minutes from the room above me which is the attic. the squeaking gets really quiet. but then it starts back up again. i'm disgusted right now! i'd be okay if it were bats cause i think bats are adorable... i don't really know why but rats are just...ew... it's like squeaking and scratching. i personally think its rats. IMO, the Spurs were the best team in the west, just like their record showed. However, they were upset by a Grizzlies team that matched up extremely well with them. It could still be your brakes, depends if they did a proper job of cleaning and greasing the slides when the put them back together! Alternately it could be your drivebelt slipping, but I doubt it's the PAS pump as pressing the brakes wouldn't affect that.

Where to put bed in room?

Its hard to gauge just by reading. But i like to put the bed away from the door. If you have the middle of a wall, such as the west wall put it there, but i think you said the chimney is there. If you bed doesn't have a back rest or a big one at least, I'd place it's head under the window. However I don't know the size of your bed and if your willing to have a side cut off (put it in a corner)

The first thing you need to do is fill out a FAFSA form and send it in ASAP (right away). This will get you hooked up so you can pursue options of what to do. You need this for any kind of loan or grant or whatever it is that you need financially for school. It will also give you sites that you can access for scholarships but you still need the FAFSA to get scholarships! You can pick an application up at a college or you can go online and register, that's what I did. It will walk you through the process. I'm surprised you don't have any offers of scholarships already, your HS should have hooked you up! Talk to the staff that you work with so that you know what area you would be best able to land a great job in. It sounds like you already have an in at Georgetown Hospital through your private clinic. Use your immediate resources to open paths in the right direction. It is absolutely okay. Be very gentle, though, until they are about 5 days old. We handle ours as soon as they completely clear their shells. Then we handle them a lot as they grow - it makes them friendlier and easier to handle, train and herd later. We have about 70 Guinea fowl.

Help!?!?!?!?! in-law advice, please? (LONG!)?

My husband's mother-in-law is making me insane! And yes, I know that my husband's mother-in-law is my mom, thank you. That is why I am putting this out on y! answers. I know that she will not see it because she never gets online. I really need to vent. I would appreciate any suggestions that can get me and my kids out of the house. First of all, I do have to say that we are currently living with my parents so we can save up enough money for a down payment on a house. I appreciate my mom letting us stay here rent free, but I'm starting to wonder if it's really worth it. To start, my mother is a hoarder. If you have ever seen the show, she's not quite that bad, but only because she has people constantly cleaning and throwing stuff away. Se gets ticked off when we do clean and throw stuff away, btw. That, I have accepted. Moving on, my mother has no regard for others. She continues to disregard the rules that i have put in place for my kids. I do not allow my children to have milk or snacks right before dinner. This is so they will actually eat what is placed before them. Makes sense, right? Well, I thought so. Either my mom doesn't understand this concept or she doesn't care. Always breaking that rule. Anyway, as part of her hoarding, she refuses to properly load the dishwasher. She insists on cramming EVERY dish in the house in there and then shoving the door shut. The dishwasher was barely squeaking by until this week. She decided that the door to the dishwasher was just being stubborn. It couldn't be the crapload of dishes she had stuffed in there that was keeping the door from closing. Maybe if she just pushed a little harder.... And now we have no (working) dishwasher. She won't wash the dishes by hand, oh no. In fact, she is still putting stuff in there. I sometimes wonder if my mother is mentally incapacitated. So, the kitchen is filled with dishes despite the fact that my husband and I are spending every spare moment between; working, cleaning the rest of the house, cooking all the meals, and chasing our two kids; doing dishes. I can't talk to her without losing my temper, but my husband, wonderful man that he is, finally talked her into putting some money toward a new dishwasher. We will have to pay the majority of the bill, out of the money that is supposed to be going toward the house, but at least we will have clean dishes and one less thing to worry about. That is, until she breaks the new dishwasher, then, I might go beserk. This, among other things what is bothering me at this moment. I know she will not do anything differently, so I guess what I am asking is for suggestions on how to keep calm so we don't get kicked out. I will try anything at this point. honestly the best thing you can do is cuddle him lots spend about 2 hours a day with himn just sat on your lap infront of the telly or something feed him little bits of cabbage or parsley while hes with you (BUT NOT TO MUCH) this works so much better than any games you can do. it worked with my two girls :)

i just got this new dog, that some people where giving away and i took him in. we have had him for a week and the first week was great with him, i would let him out and just call him back if he started to wounder off my property. but now he just wants to run away or not listen, Sunday he just took off and my little dog fowled him they went three blocks away with in 5mins. More Pet Rat Questions and Help?

I got two pet rats from the local animal shelter the other day. I got Oreo the day before Snickers because I didn’t realize that it is best to get more than one. They are both about six weeks old and litter mates. Yesterday I noticed that they were wrestling. They kept rolling around on top of each other and making soft squeaking noises. I can’t tell if their fighting or playing. They chase each other around and tackle each other. Last night they kept wrestling for like an hour I would get them to stop sit down and they would do it again. Is it serious? I can’t tell. How much should I be able to sell my 98 dodge neon for?

I just bought this car a few days ago. And my dad told me to sell it before it stops working. I spent $600 on it. Its a 1998 dodge neon. Reconstructed title. No radio, but otherwise pretty good interior. The tires are OKAY but probably should be changed soon. The breaks need replaced, they squeak really bad and the pads are low. Tires need aligned or whatever. I just changed the oil and filter. It has a transmission fluid leak. The water pump needs replaced. The timing belt apparently needs replaced. My kitten has round pupils?

Hes really scrawny and timid and his meow is more like a squeak with a kind of purr. Hes auburn, black, and white. His sister is a calico with slitted eyes and healthier looking. Hard to say for sure without knowing what you'll major in, but go to the one of those that gives you the best financial aid if all else is equal. '98 nissan sentra 1.6L "a/c compressor" opinions please? ...help!!!?

About A month ago im driving down the road as usual with the ac on and all of the sudden I smell a burnt rubber smell so I pull over pop the hood and there was smoke coming from the serpentine belt. (By the way, weeks before this incident the belt would squeal and squeak time to time so I tried belt dressing and after a few days it would still start squealing again here and there but would still blow cold air fine until the day as stated above when i smelled the burnt rubber coming from the belt. My a/c has not blown cold air since that day. The compressor still comes on/ so I go buy a brand new belt but still no cold air whatsoever and I know its not a leak or low on freon. I notice that when I turn my ac on my belt runs really slow compared to when the ac is off. What do you guys think is going on from what i've told you. Ive had several ppl look at it. One guy thinks the bearings in the compressor are bad or compressor is locking up/stuck or just a bad compressor which is probably the case but a different guy thinks the compressor is still good and told me that the "harmonic balancer" is bad and needs replacement and that would fix my problem. I don't know what the hell to do! Any suggestions would be very very appreciated. Thank you ahead of time for any ones input! -also i don't even know what a "harmonic balancer" is and what it dose- could it cause the compressor to not work right and in turn not blow cold air? im just frustrated! don't know what to do!!!

Cat acting strange!! HELP!?

About 3 years ago, our neighbor shot our cat not once, but twice. She had three holes because she must have been laying down so it went through her leg and then through her stomach, well she cleaned it up and there was no blood when we found out and it took her a long time to heal up. We couldn't take her to the vet at the time as we live in a small town and the vet works in another town too so we let her do her own thing and keep her away from the dogs for awhile. After she healed she was spaded so she couldn't have anymore babies so she gained quite a bit of weight.. I'm not sure what she weighs now but it's gotta be well over 30 lbs. I've noticed for about a week and a half now that she has had poop on her butt, all i thought to myself was that she's just getting old (going on 9 yrs) and she is over weight so she must not be able to reach down there to clean herself. Today i was walking into the hallway to use the restroom and she was in like a pooping position shaking facing the wall, I touched her and she shook worse so i kind of helped her to lay down and i pushed on her stomach not really hard and i heard this squeak sound like when you blow up a balloon and let it go. It was her fart and so i sat there with her kind of worried for 20 mins. and she was still laying in the position i left her and you could see the pain in her face evertime she lifted up her bum to let another one go.... i don't know if it has something to do with the bullets if they are still in her from years ago or what.. I'm just scared something is wrong with her because i've had her since i was like 7 or 8 years old because my other cat (we no longer have got ran over) was her mom and she had kittens like 2 days before my birthday and i asked if i could keep one. haha. If i have to.. I can ask my mom to bring her to the vet but maybe one of you have an answer :)

I am getting a dog, i need some opinions/advice...?

CONGRATS on getting a dog. You seem very excited. What you have now should be fine, the dog will be lots of work but it is so worth it. Depending on how well shes trained i sugest preparing yourself lol your house is ready, but make sure before you get her your 100% willing to take the time and do the work having a dog means. Normally a dog should be fed once or twice a day, smaller bowlfuls if twice. But it also depends on the dog. I sugest ordering the smaller ammount. Rember you cant dictate how the dog will react to the food. Maybe it upsets her tummy, maybe it causes her to have issues taking a dump, maybe she just hates the food. Dogs can be picky. My own lost there taste for the old food and wouldnt eat, now i have to buy another kind. Id be happy to say more about how to care for a dog if youd like to im or message me.

My old truck 1992 ford F 150 with a 4.9 - 300 6 cyl. fowels the spark plugs?

1992 F 150 w/4.9 , 300 6Cly engine. started running rough and fowled up the new plugs thought it may of been the fuel pressure regulator but not sure. I took a fuel pressure test and it shows to be within specs, 69 psi.and holds the pressure ok. The fuel pump never stops working. I thought it had to stop after a few seconds.Also took pressure regulator off and checked out had good vacuum. Replaced spark plugs and started up fine no miss no rough idle. Road tested and got back started running rough and missing again. Black smoke coming from tail pipe. I checked the distributor for wear and checked the pick up coil or hall effect and is working fine. Also checked coil for resistance and changed out the ign. module. The spark seems kinda yellow but jumps to ground good. It starts OK when I clean the spark plugs. No miss fire and Idles smooth. I also adjusted it to the initial timing. Have not replaced the O-2 yet. I know a defective 02 will keep the eng. running in the full rich mode but it shouldn't fowl the plugs. Has anyone had this problem with the same vehicle? could it be the ECM or Injectors? I'm tired of f------g with it. Read the book 10 times but not enough info. Appreciate any kinda help. I'm an old pro. on old autos but don't know enough of the new stuff. Thanks

Make sure to read the books that have prequels in this list after you have read said prequels, other than that do an ip-dip-do. However, I would recommend reading the knife of never letting go first, it is an excellent book.

Does this mean my subwoofers are blown?

I'm running two Kicker L7 12 inch hooked up to a single Rockford t2500 amp. I was listening to skrillex at about 45 (out of 65 volume) with the bass at +4. After about 30 minutes, the subs cut out. Once we got back I popped my trunk and didn't smell anything unusual and it didn't make any noises if I pushed the subs directly in. If I pushed only one side of the subs, it made a squeaking noise. Does that mean their damage? On the left sub the left side squeaks and on the right the right squeaks. Remember, if I push directly in I feel no resistance or hear any sounds. Also, the subs worked after about 15 minutes, but I didn't turn them up passed 10 just to make sure I don't make matters worse. Thanks in advanced. :]

What are some good books?

I need a good book to read in my spare time. I'm 14 years old. I really don't like romance novels what so ever. Some of my favourite series are; Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Uglies, and Artemis Fowl. But it seems that I can't find a new one that excites me. Extra brownie points for it actually being a series, and not just one book. No vampires please, they're way to over used. There are so many cliches in your descriptions and your plot for that matter. The story moves too fast, doesn't bother to describe any scenes and is full of punctuation errors. I would rewrite this whole thing, several times, before even thinking of continuing. You also clearly need to learn the "Show, Don't Tell" rule of writing. If I were you, I would just scrap the whole thing and try again from the beginning bearing in mind what I just said. Good luck.

Why is my hamster squeaking when she's rolling in her ball?

My hamster is quite active so every night I let her roll in her ball, which she obviously really enjoys. She loves to roll into a room in which it can be hard for her to get out, but this normally doesn't faze her. Last night she was in that room and squeaking, so I helped her out but she squeaked and rolled back in. Any idea why she is squeaking? She does on occasion just appear to randomly squeak while out. I also have 3 cats, but my hamster doesn't seem to mind, but would they have anything to do with her squeaking?
