Where do I stand with my employer, when I refuse to do a job based on privacy law and......?

In order for me to do my job, gaining access to a CN Rail Yard in Ontario. I must provide a thumb print as part of the identification process. I believe that this is unconstitutional in Canada and plays fowl of the privacy laws. If you could direct me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
