Why are there so many contradictions in the bible if God truly wrote the bible?

You shouldn't expect much as far logic goes, we are talking about a book that says goats and snakes can talk and a 400 year old man made a boat big enough to hold 2 of every species (just the species of whales would call for a huge boat) not to mention enough food to feed them all, cages to prevent carnivore and omnivores from eating each other and the herbivores, water to keep the various fish, amphibians, and whales alive, and then Loaded them all up. Does that sound reasonable to you?
