Can you know someone's personality in a deeper and better way by knowing which kind of books they prefer?

Oh my God your favorites are my favorites. Minus Percy Jackson. I'm also that one person in my friend circle who tends to avoid romance in favor of fantasy, adventure or horror. I always feel like the odd one out when I go to the bookstore and my girl friends are gravitating toward the section with swooning women and hot guys plastered all over the covers and I'm like "Ehhhh... Imma go see what's over here." If that makes us strange, at least we're not alone. x_x
